Driving from FL to DE with pet, what are some good places to stop and see?

my husband and i are traveling from Bonita Springs, FL to Dover, DE and we are bringing our dog with us. we're interested in making this a bit of a fun ride, what are some good places to stop (remembering we'll have the dog) to see different places and things.
