Mosquito bite itch persistent?

ive had these bite for about 6 months now, theyre really itchy still and it doesnt go away, some of them hav stop but they were still itchy for like months before it faded but this one near my ankle is like a pest and wont stop itching especially after taking a hot shower, so was wondering why its still itchy?
