Will the job of a handy man ALWAYS be NEEDED?

Those all look like good jobs for permanent employment in the US. I read that car mechanics and air conditioning technicians will always be needed because it doesn't make sense to send the units to another country for maintenance or to buy a whole new unit instead of fixing it on-site.
