What exercise should I take up - if I hate it?

I have been falling asleep in class lately - and my doctor says I should exercise to de-stress. But honestly, I have never enjoyed it, and the thought of it stresses me out more. I have always been more academic than sporty. What class should I take up? How else can I de-stress? I'm dreading this...
